A Super Experience in Jupiter

Updated: Apr 5, 2022

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and we just walked in to what seems like L.A. Rams Headquarters at Timbers Jupiter. The concierge team here has done an amazing job of kitting out the place for an epic Super Bowl party. After a long day on the road from Kiawah, SC we were extremely excited by this wonderful welcome to Sunny Florida.

I’m here for the week with some of my Timbers Kauai Ohana. Art, Victoria, and Lynn are all owners out in Kauai, as are Kenny and Stacy who should be joining us at any moment. And right now we’re ready for some Football! Art and Victoria are part of the army of L.A. Rams fans who are extremely excited for the game tonight. I’m not sure if I’m more excited about watching the Rams win, or digging in to the incredible spread of football food that we have laid out in the dining area.

The residences at Timbers Jupiter are all stand-alone houses. Ours is 4 bedrooms with a hot tub on the back deck next to the grilling area overlooking a beautiful lagoon. Fortunately for our neighbors, the houses are well spaced out because I think there will be some cheering going on in here if the game goes as we hope it will!

If you care even a little bit about sports, or know someone who does, you probably know that the 2022 Super Bowl will go down as an epic championship game. It was a nail biter, the lead and momentum went back and forth, and – most importantly – the Rams won! For this I will be eternally thankful. Not because I am a die hard Rams fan, but because Art and Victoria are over the moon happy after that game, and I love seeing my friends happy – especially when I’m in charge of the game plan for the week!

In an even bigger win for our crew, Kenny & Stacy have finally escaped from Texas to join us! They were due to arrive in Kiawah over a week ago for the start of our Southeast Timbers road trip. But much better late than never.

Once again the week has been filled with golf and boating. As a real treat we were hosted by the wonderful folks at Barton and Gray for a lovely afternoon cruise on one of their beautiful signature Hinkley picnic boats. Cruising the intracoastal waterway in comfort and style was a fabulous way to see some of beautiful homes, gorgeous birds, and friendly dolphins that make each day on the water here special.

One huge bonus for me this week was having the opportunity to catch up with one of my favorite people from my time in Hilton Head. It’s been much too long since I’ve seen Heather, but connecting again after so many years soon felt like we had never lost touch. Cheers to friendships that last the test of time, and to the miracles of modern technology that allow us to stay connected across too many miles and years.

I’m actually leaving the team a day early to head off to the airport to start the next leg of my journey, but I’m confident that the rest of the crew will be just fine without me. Huge shoutout and thanks to the incredible staff at Timbers Jupiter! They have helped make our time in Florida extremely special, and they went out of their way to ensure that everyone felt very much at home.

Extra Bonus! The best ride to the airport with Dr. Lee Cohen & Jamie.
